ट्विटर पर ट्रेंड हुआ #FamilyMan2_against_Tamils, सामंथा अक्किनेनी ने दी ये प्रतिक्रिया

सामंथा अक्किनेनी, प्रिया मणि और मनोज बाजपेयी अभिनीत द फैमिली मैन 2 के ट्रेलर रिलीज के तुरंत बाद, यह शो ईलम तमिलों के नकारात्मक चित्रण को लेकर विवाद में आ गया। अब, शो ने खुद को तमिलों को स्टीरियोटाइप करने के लिए एक नए विवाद में पाया है। #FamilyMan2_against_Tamils ट्विटर पर ट्रेंड कर रहा है क्योंकि तमिल दर्शकों ने वेब शो पर प्रतिबंध लगाने की मांग की है। 

ट्विटर यूजर्स में से एक ने लिखा, "दुनिया भर में स्टीरियोटाइपिंग की निंदा की जाती है, लेकिन यहां इसकी प्रशंसा की जाती है। क्या चेन्नई सांभर, फिल्टर कॉफी और लुंगी के बारे में है?" तमिल अभिनेता और राजनेता सीमन ने एक ट्वीट में शो के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई की भी मांग की है। अपने बयान में उन्होंने तमिलनाडु सरकार से अनुरोध किया है कि शो को तमिलों के खिलाफ दिखाने पर उसे बैन कर दिया जाए। उनके ट्वीट का अनुवाद है, हम तमिल विरोधी इंटरनेट श्रृंखला द फैमिली मैन 2 पर प्रतिबंध लगाने और इसे रोकने के लिए कानूनी और लोकतांत्रिक कार्रवाई करेंगे!

इस बीच, सामंथा अक्किनेनी ने अपने हिंदी वेब डेब्यू, द फैमिली मैन 2 की रिलीज़ के बाद आखिरकार अपनी चुप्पी तोड़ी। उन्होंने इंस्टाग्राम पर एक लंबा नोट लिखा, "Reading all the reviews and comments fills my heart with so much joy .. RAJI will always be special." उन्होंने आगे कहा कि उनका किरदार राजी 'हमेशा खास' रहेगा।
